For Sensitive Skin For Reactive Skin For Dry Skin AM + PM Daily Fragrance-Free

Nobody warned you your skin would change after the baby. It never used to react — now it flushes, stings at things it never minded, and won't settle on any of the creams already crowding the shelf. That's the post-baby barrier: hormones and broken sleep thinned it out, and it needs rebuilding, not another "calming" cream that does nothing. Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream is named for exactly this skin: dry (3), sensitive (4), reactive (5).

A barrier-rebuilding daily moisturiser developed by Korean dermatologists for skin that reacts to everything else. Ceramides, panthenol, centella, and hyaluronic acid — the ingredients newly-sensitive skin actually needs — in a fragrance-free, non-greasy formula that layers under SPF, makeup, and serums without pilling.

Press it in morning and night in the four minutes you've got. The one cream you finally stop replacing.

Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream — built for skin types 3-4-5: dry, sensitive, reactive

The Alina Promise

Tried every "sensitive skin" cream and still searching? Try this for 30 days. If your skin isn't visibly calmer, email me. Refund or swap.

I know how exhausting it is to spend $40-$60 on cream after cream that's "fine, I guess." If this isn't your forever cream, I'd rather refund you and match you with one that is.

Email hello@alinabeauty.com.au — I personally reply within 24 hours.
— Edwina, founder

"My skin has been reactive since my twenties — winter is the worst, summer the second-worst. I'd tried every 'sensitive skin' cream on Mecca's shelf before this. It's the first cream that genuinely calmed my redness and that I can wear under SPF without it pilling. I haven't switched in a year."

Multi-ceramide complex, centella + madecassoside, panthenol, hyaluronic acid — the four pillars of barrier repair in one cream
Benefits

Rebuilds the barrier your skin lost

Ceramides + panthenol + centella + hyaluronic acid — the four pillars of barrier repair, in one formula. Most "sensitive skin" creams use one or two of these. This one delivers all four, which is why chronic-sensitive skin actually responds.

Calms redness without numbing it

Centella asiatica works at the inflammation source — not just masking flushes, but addressing why your skin is reactive in the first place. Visible reduction in baseline redness for most people within 2 weeks.

Layers under SPF and makeup, doesn't pill

Light cream texture that absorbs in 60 seconds. Sits cleanly under sunscreen, foundation, and your normal daytime layers. No more "did my moisturiser just balled up?" mid-morning.

Built for chronic, not occasional, sensitivity

This isn't a one-week "skin reset" product. It's the daily AM and PM cream you stay on for months. Most of our customers refill before they run out.

Half the price of the derm-brand equivalents

SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid: $170. Avène Tolerance Control: $50. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Riche: $45. This one delivers on the same brief at a price that doesn't punish chronic users.

What's in this

The barrier rebuilder

Multi-Ceramide Complex

Ceramides are the lipid molecules that hold your skin barrier together. Sensitive skin is usually low on them. This formula uses multiple ceramide types (1, 3, 6-II) that work in different layers, which is why it actually rebuilds — not just refills.

The soother

Centella Asiatica + Madecassoside

The active compound family in centella that quietens skin inflammation. Reduces visible flushing, calms reactive episodes, and accelerates healing of any micro-irritation already underway.

The hydrator

Panthenol (Vitamin B5) + Hyaluronic Acid

Panthenol locks moisture in. Hyaluronic acid pulls moisture in. Together they keep the skin barrier hydrated for hours after application, which is what keeps the cream working between layers of your routine.

What's NOT in it

The avoidance list

No fragrance. No essential oils. No alcohol. No acids. No retinoids. Nothing in this jar is going to trigger reactive skin — that's the entire formulation principle.

Why this over a derm-brand cream

Same brief. Korean formulation. Half the price.

How to use it

Twice a day. After serum. Before SPF. That's the routine.

Step 1

Cleanse + tone + serum

Your normal routine. Apply any serum (this layers well with everything except direct retinol — space those out).

Step 2

Pea-sized dollop

Less than you think. Warm between your fingers, press into skin. Face, neck, decolletage. Wait 60 seconds for absorption.

Step 3

SPF (AM)

SPF 30+ daily — this layers under it without pilling. Sensitive skin doesn't get a pass on UV; it needs SPF more, not less.

Questions answered
Will this work on rosacea-prone skin?

Many of our customers with rosacea-prone skin use this daily and report visible calming within 2–4 weeks. We can't claim to treat rosacea (it's a medical diagnosis) — but the formula skips every common rosacea trigger (fragrance, alcohol, essential oils) and the centella + madecassoside combination is one of the most-studied calming pairings. If you're on a prescription, check with your derm before adding new skincare.

How is this different from Cicaplast Baume B5?

Cicaplast Baume B5 is mostly panthenol (vitamin B5) with a small amount of centella derivative — great as an SOS spot treatment, but greasy as a daily face cream. This is a different format: a multi-ceramide barrier cream you can actually wear AM/PM under SPF and makeup. Different jobs.

Can I use it with retinol or AHA?

Yes — in fact, this is one of the best buffer creams for retinol users. Apply this first to clean damp skin, wait 60 seconds, then your retinol on top. Many people who had to abandon retinol for irritation can tolerate it once they layer this underneath.

What's the "345" mean?

It's Dr. Althea's classification for the three skin types this cream targets: type 3 (dry), type 4 (sensitive), type 5 (reactive). The formula is built specifically for skin that lives in those categories chronically — not for normal, oily, or combination skin needing occasional hydration.

Is it safe during pregnancy?

All ingredients in this formula (ceramides, panthenol, centella, hyaluronic acid) are considered pregnancy-safe in topical form. Many of our customers actually started using this through pregnancy because so much else was off-limits. Please check with your GP or obstetrician before adding new skincare.

How long until I see results?

Skin feels more comfortable immediately. Visible reduction in baseline redness: 2–3 weeks. Skin feels meaningfully less reactive to triggers: 4–6 weeks. This is a maintenance cream, so the benefits compound the longer you stay on it.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Use it consistently for 30 days. If your skin isn't visibly calmer, email hello@alinabeauty.com.au and tell me. Refund or swap, no return needed.

How long does one jar last?

The 50ml jar is about 2–3 months of twice-daily use at a pea-sized dollop per application. Once daily, it stretches to 4–5 months. Most regular users refill once a quarter.
