For All Skin Types For Daily SPF Wearers Step 1 Double Cleanse Olive Oil Base AM + PM Daily

The end of the day, when the baby's finally down: your face is still carrying the SPF, the day's foundation, tiny handprints, and whatever's left of yesterday's mascara. And a foaming cleanser can't break down oil-based sunscreen or makeup — so it stays on, quietly congesting your skin and feeding the breakouts along your jaw.

Manyo's Pure Cleansing Oil is the calm first step that melts all of it off. An olive-oil-based cleanser that dissolves SPF, foundation, mascara, and excess sebum — then emulsifies into a milky lather with water and rinses completely clean. No greasy film, no stripped feeling. Just one clean minute at the end of a chaotic day, and the prepared canvas everything else in your routine actually needs.

The cleanser that K-beauty obsessives have stocked for ten years. The reason every other product works harder.

The Alina Promise

Try the bottle for 30 days. If your skin doesn't look clearer and feel calmer, email me. Refund or swap.

Most "I have congestion" issues clear up within 2–3 weeks of properly removing SPF and makeup every night. If you've been double-cleansing with this and your skin hasn't responded, that's on me — refund or swap, no return needed.

"I wear SPF 50 every single day to manage my post-pregnancy melasma. Foaming cleansers never properly removed it — I'd see the residue on my pillowcase the next morning. I switched to this as step 1 about a year ago and the difference in my skin in 30 days was undeniable. It's the unglamorous product that makes every serum and treatment after it actually work."

Benefits

Properly removes SPF and makeup

SPF is oil-based. Foundation is oil-based. Mascara is oil-based. The only thing that fully dissolves them is an oil cleanser. A foaming cleanser pushes the residue around — an oil cleanser actually lifts it. This is the single biggest difference between a "good skin" routine and a "why am I breaking out" routine.

Emulsifies completely — no greasy residue

A lot of cleansing oils leave a film. Manyo's formulation turns into a milky lather the second you add water and rinses clean — no need for a second foaming cleanser if your skin doesn't need one. (Most do; that's step 2 of the double cleanse.)

Gentle enough for sensitive + reactive skin

Olive-oil base with no harsh surfactants. The skin barrier stays intact — you don't get the tight-stretched feeling foaming cleansers leave behind. Safe for daily AM + PM use without disrupting moisture levels.

Decongests pores over time

Oil dissolves oil. The sebum hardening into blackheads in your T-zone is broken down by an oil cleanser in ways a foaming cleanser physically cannot do. Two to four weeks of consistent use is when most people notice the T-zone congestion clearing.

The reason every other product works

A perfectly clean canvas is what allows your serums and treatments to penetrate. If you're spending $50–100 on actives but still using a basic foaming cleanser, the cleanser is the bottleneck. This solves it for under $40.

What's in this bottle

The base

Olive Oil + Argan Oil

A blend of olive oil (the classic Mediterranean skincare base — high in oleic acid for dissolving sebum and makeup) and argan oil (lighter, vitamin-E-rich, helps the formula stay non-comedogenic). Together they break down everything oil-based on your skin without disrupting the barrier underneath.

The emulsifier

Plant-Based Surfactants

The reason the oil turns milky and rinses clean instead of leaving a slick. Gentle, plant-derived surfactants — no SLS, no harsh synthetics. This is what separates a properly-formulated cleansing oil from a kitchen-pantry version that just sits on top of skin.

The protector

Tea Tree Leaf Oil + Botanical Extracts

A light addition of tea tree (mild antimicrobial — helps with the bacteria component of breakouts) and supporting botanical extracts that calm the skin during cleansing. The formula is fragrance-free in the synthetic sense — any scent comes from these naturals.

Why this over a foaming cleanser

Different chemistry. Different result. A fraction of the premium-brand price.

How to use it

On dry skin. Massage. Then add water to emulsify. Rinse.

Step 1

2–3 pumps, dry skin

Dispense onto dry palms. Apply to dry skin — water at this stage ruins the chemistry. The oil needs to physically dissolve the SPF + makeup first.

Step 2

Massage 60 seconds

Circular motions across the whole face, including eye area. Take your time on the T-zone where congestion lives. Mascara dissolves last — give it 30 extra seconds.

Step 3

Add water, emulsify

Wet hands. Massage again — the oil turns milky white. This is the emulsifier doing its job. Keep going for another 20 seconds.

Step 4

Rinse + step 2

Rinse with lukewarm water. Then follow with a gentle foaming or gel cleanser as step 2. That's the double cleanse.

Frequency: PM every night (essential if you wear SPF or makeup). AM optional — most people don't need it in the morning.

Questions answered
What is double cleansing and do I actually need it?

Double cleansing is a two-step PM routine: oil cleanser first (dissolves SPF, makeup, sebum), then a water-based cleanser (lifts the dirt + sweat). It's the K-beauty standard for one reason — nothing else gets your skin properly clean if you wear daily SPF or makeup. If you wear neither, single cleanse is fine. Otherwise, yes, you need both steps.

Will this break me out? I have oily/acne-prone skin.

Counterintuitive but true — oil cleansers are usually better for oily and acne-prone skin than foaming alternatives. They dissolve the sebum that hardens into blackheads, and they don't strip the barrier (which causes the skin to overproduce oil in compensation). If your acne is reactive to specific ingredients, patch-test on your jawline for a week before using on your whole face.

Is this safe for the eye area + waterproof mascara?

Yes — this is one of the best products for removing eye makeup including waterproof mascara. Massage gently with eyes closed; let the oil do the work for 30 seconds before water. Avoid getting it directly in the eye — if it happens, rinse with cool water.

Is this safe during pregnancy?

Yes — no retinoids, no salicylic acid, nothing on the pregnancy-flag list. It's one of the more pregnancy-friendly products in your routine. Please run any new skincare past your GP or obstetrician first, especially with allergies.

Can I use it on dry/damaged skin?

Yes — this is actually the cleanser you want if your skin is dry or barrier-compromised. The olive oil base is nourishing rather than stripping, and there's no harsh surfactant disrupting the barrier. Many people switch to oil cleansing specifically when their skin starts feeling tight after washing.

Do I still need a foaming cleanser as step 2?

If you wear SPF or makeup, yes — the oil cleanser dissolves the heavy stuff, the water-based cleanser lifts what's left + sweat. If you've been at home with no SPF or makeup that day, single cleanse with just this is fine. The skin doesn't lie — if it feels still "filmy" after step 1, do step 2.

How long does one bottle last?

At 2–3 pumps nightly, the [SIZE] bottle lasts about 3–4 months for one person. If you AM cleanse with it too, more like 2 months. Either way it's roughly $9–12 a month for the step that makes every other product work.
