For Firming + Lifting For Anti-Aging Maintenance 3-in-1 Device USB-C Rechargeable 5 Minutes a Day

The serums you already own can only do so much sitting on the surface. The actives need to get in — past the barrier, into the layers where firmness actually comes from. That's what Korean clinics use devices for, and this is the at-home version: a five-minute step for the time-poor, not another product to remember.

Medicube's AGE-R Booster Pro Mini is a compact, USB-C rechargeable, 3-in-1 tool that slots into the routine you already have. Galvanic ion technology drives your serums up to 5x deeper. Microcurrent works the facial muscles to lift and firm. Vibration massage boosts circulation and takes down the puffiness.

Five minutes after your PM cleanse, on the couch, while something's on. The serums you already own, working harder. The Korean derm-clinic upgrade without the $500 NuFace price tag.

5 signs your skincare routine needs a boost

The Alina Promise

Use it 5 minutes a day for 60 days. If your skin doesn't look firmer and your serums aren't working harder, email me. Refund or swap.

Devices work on a longer timeline than topical products. That's why this promise window is 60 days. Visible firmness in the cheekbones and jawline at 4–6 weeks of consistent daily use. If you've done that and the results aren't there, that's on me — refund or swap, device in original condition.

"I tried the NuFace at Sephora three years in a row before I admitted I was never going to spend $500 on it. Then I tried this. Same firming idea, more functions (galvanic + microcurrent + massage in one device), and half the price. Five minutes after my PM cleanse, while I'm watching something. My jawline is more defined than it's been in five years."

Benefits

Your serums work harder — up to 5x deeper

Galvanic ion technology uses a mild electrical charge to push your serum's actives past the surface barrier and into the deeper skin layers where they actually do their work. Studies on galvanic facials show 2–5x increase in ingredient penetration vs. fingertip application. The expensive serum you're already buying suddenly performs like a $200 serum.

Microcurrent firms and lifts

The same low-level electrical stimulation aesthetics clinics use to "exercise" the facial muscles — firming the underlying structure that holds your skin up. Visible jaw + cheekbone definition at 4–6 weeks of daily 5-minute use. Same principle as the Western NuFace and Foreo devices, at a fraction of the price.

Vibration massage = circulation + de-puff

The third mode adds gentle vibration to increase microcirculation and reduce facial puffiness — especially helpful in the AM after a salty meal or a poor night of sleep. Replaces the gua sha or face roller you'd otherwise need as a separate tool.

5 minutes a day, compact + USB-C

The "Mini" in the name is real — the device fits in one hand, charges via USB-C (so it works with your phone cable), and a full charge gives you 2–3 weeks of use. Slots into the routine you already have. No extra space on the bathroom counter required.

Korean derm-clinic technology — half the Western price

Medicube's parent company supplies devices to Korean aesthetic clinics. The AGE-R line is their consumer adaptation of clinic-grade tech. The Western equivalents (NuFace Trinity $400+, Foreo Bear $300+, ZIIP $500+) deliver fewer functions for more money. This is the price-disrupting Korean original.

How it works — the three modes

Mode 1 — The booster

Galvanic Ion Penetration

A low-level electrical current of the same polarity as your skin pushes serum molecules deeper than they'd ever reach passively. Think of it as opening the gate for your actives. Studies show 2–5x increased absorption vs. fingertip application. Used over PDRN, peptides, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C — every active you put under it performs harder.

Mode 2 — The lifter

Microcurrent (EMS)

Sub-sensory electrical pulses stimulate the facial muscles underneath your skin — the same way physiotherapists "exercise" injured muscle groups. Over weeks of consistent use, the underlying support structure of your face becomes more toned. The visible effect: tighter jawline, more defined cheekbones, lifted brow position.

Mode 3 — The de-puffer

Vibration Massage

Gentle high-frequency vibration that increases blood flow and lymphatic drainage. Reduces facial puffiness (especially AM), accelerates the de-toxing effect of your skincare, and replaces a separate gua sha tool. Most effective when you slow down on the under-eye and jawline areas.

Why this over a Western beauty device

More functions. Smaller form factor. Half the price.

How to use it

After cleanse + toner. Apply a generous layer of serum. Glide the device for 5 minutes. Finish with moisturiser.

How to use the AGE-R Booster Pro Mini — all modes guide

Step 1

Clean, toned skin + serum

Cleanse and tone as normal. Apply a generous layer of water-based serum — the device won't work on dry skin. The serum is the conductor.

Step 2

Power on + select mode

Hold the power button. Cycle through the three modes (galvanic, microcurrent, vibration). Beginners: start with galvanic only for the first week.

Step 3

Glide upward, 5 minutes

Slow strokes, always upward and outward — jaw to ear, cheekbone to temple, brow to hairline. Spend 1 minute per zone. Re-apply serum if your face starts to feel dry.

Step 4

Moisturise + continue

Lock in with moisturiser. Power off the device. Wipe the metal contact heads with a tissue. Plug into USB-C to recharge once every 2–3 weeks.

Frequency: Daily for the first 8 weeks (this is when you build visible firming). Then 4–5 times a week for maintenance. Skip a day if your skin feels at all sensitised.

Safety + who shouldn't use this

Do NOT use this device if you have:

  • A pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or any other electrical implant — microcurrent can interfere
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding — microcurrent contraindicated; the topical-only Medicube PDRN serum is the alternative
  • Epilepsy or a seizure disorder
  • Active cancer treatment (or you're undergoing chemotherapy / radiation in the treatment area)
  • Recent facial surgery, fillers, Botox — wait at least 2 weeks; ask your practitioner for the all-clear
  • Metal implants in the face (dental implants are usually fine; check with your dentist if unsure)
  • Acne in active breakout, broken skin, or open wounds in the treatment area

If in doubt, check with your GP or dermatologist before first use. The device is designed for general adult cosmetic use and is sold as a beauty device, not a medical device. Use at your own discretion.

Questions answered
Does this actually work, or is it gimmicky?

Galvanic ion penetration is well-studied — clinical research consistently shows 2–5x increased ingredient absorption vs. fingertip application. Microcurrent for facial muscle tone is the same technology aesthetic clinics use; the consumer dose is gentler but with daily use compounds over weeks. It's the most evidence-backed category in at-home beauty devices. If you use the device + serum daily for 8 weeks and don't see results, the 60-day promise covers you.

Which serums work best with it?

Water-based, non-comedogenic serums are ideal — the active needs to be in a conductive medium. Best pairings from our range: Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum (designed by the same brand to pair with their devices), Anua Niacinamide TXA, Anua Heartleaf Toner. Avoid oil cleansers or thick creams; the device won't conduct through oil. Apply serum generously — you want a thin film, not absorbed.

When will I see results?

Same-day: skin looks plumper, more glowy (galvanic absorption effect). 2–3 weeks: subtle firming in cheekbones + jaw. 6–8 weeks: visible jaw definition, brow lift. 12+ weeks: long-term muscle tone changes that maintain even on skip-days. Devices work on muscle-tone timelines, not skincare timelines — expect a slower payoff than a serum.

Will it hurt? Will I feel the current?

The galvanic mode is essentially sensation-free — you'll feel a faint warmth, sometimes a slight metallic taste (normal). Microcurrent is sub-sensory at the device's setting; some users feel a very faint tingle, most feel nothing. If you feel a sharp pinch or sting, you need more serum — the device isn't conducting properly through a dry area. Stop and re-apply.

How long does a charge last?

A full charge gives roughly 30–40 sessions of 5 minutes each — about 2–3 weeks of daily use. Recharges via USB-C in about 90 minutes. Use your phone cable; no proprietary brick required.

How do I clean it?

After each use: wipe the metal contact heads with a clean tissue or cotton pad. Once a week: damp microfibre cloth, lightly. Do not submerge in water. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners on the metal — degrades the conductivity over time.

Is there a warranty?

12-month manufacturer warranty against defects. Plus our 60-day refund-or-swap promise if the device isn't delivering results. If it ever stops charging, glitches, or has any hardware issue within 12 months, email me — I'll handle the replacement directly with Medicube.

What's in the box?

The AGE-R Booster Pro Mini device (Pink), USB-C charging cable, instruction manual, storage pouch. Bring your own USB-C charging brick / phone charger.

Why now

Ships from Sydney in 1–3 days. Not from Korea in 21.

Devices through Korean import sit in customs for weeks, arrive without local warranty, and leave you with no support when something glitches. Stocked locally means same-week delivery, 12-month warranty, and a human (me) to call if you have any issue.
